Shri Shri Thakur and His state of Supreme Father
================================
'When I say Supreme Father or God etc, I mean such a state of myself when instead of feeling myself an “individual”, I feel my Normal (universal) state. The state of the Supreme Father is such a peaceful state, that I almost fall asleep there. And after waking up I still see (feel) the Father. That means a feeling remains in the memory, and that feeling brings joy. That extreme state cannot be described, it is beyond words. However, even though it is beyond words, it can still be felt – only the soul understands what it feels'
[Ref : Amiyo Baani, Page89]
_________________________________________________________________
'In the state when the Holy Sayings (in Punya Puthi) are dictated, that also is one of my state and that too a “conscious” state. But I cannot remember everything and say now. It is almost like we see so many things in our sleep and talk about it…..sleeping however not unconsciously, a different state you may say.'
[Ref : Amiyo Baani, Page146]
_________________________________________________________________
Shri Shri Thakur said, 'Look, the publicity of me as Viswa-Guru(World Teacher), Thakur etc is not only your fault. Even the Supreme Father has a mischievous involvement in it. Without letting me do any work, He wants to get His work done through all of you and so He presented this obstacle. May be instead of directly listening to Him and following, it will be easier (for others) to understand His sayings through all of you and so He made such arrangement.'
Ashiwinida (the writer of Amiyo Baani) adds, He and Supreme Father are same- this feeling always exists. So in spite of caution that oneness comes out in His talks sometime. So He said, “directly Listening to Him”.

Ashiwinida (the writer of Amiyo Baani) said to Shri Shri Thakur, 'Gopal Karmakar went to Sonamukhi to buy tasar silk sarees. There he met Haranath Thakur and asked him that presently he, alongwith Jagatbandhu, Dayanand and Anukulchandra, were propagated as Avatars. Which one of them was the right one? Who was the real Avatar or if all of them were Avatars then who was greatest among them? Or, who was what type of Avatar? Hearing all these questions Haranath Thakur silently gazed towards the sky for a while and then said, "Jagatbandhu, Dayanand and I - none of us is an Avatar." He, however, did not express his opinion on you.'
Gently smiling Shri Shri Thakur said, 'I am not that type of Avatar or anything. I am verily like you all. I too catch diseases, I too have death - like any common man. However, I know, there exists a Universal-I, Universal-life or Supreme-soul - whatever you say. Till the time I am detached from that feeling, I am just like any other living being. On the other hand, when I am attached to that feeling of Universal-I, I feel myself as that Universal-I. That is the state of Avatar, God or Supreme Being - whatever you say. In that state, all that is said or done, are verily the words or acts of God. Apart from this there exists no Avatar etc. here - do understand this.'

ONVERSATIONS
WITH SRI SRI THAKUR: PRATUL-DIPTI (BY MANILAL CHAKRABORTY): SEPTEMBER 12, 1961:
______________________________________________________________________
At about 5:30 PM Mr. Exman came to Sri Sri Thakur, “I have spent a very busy day. I have visited Satsang Press, Topovan Vidyalaya, Philanthropy Office, Chemical Works, Ananda Bazaar , Motor Works, Water Works etc. and am very glad to see all these institutions of Satsang. I shall take photographs of all of them tomorrow. Here everybody is helping me. They all are really full of sincerity.”
Sri Sri Thakur, “They all love you. They have heard about you from Ray. Hence they are doing the needful as required.”
Mr. Exman, “I would like to use some of Your messages on different subjects. I request Your permission”
Sri Sri Thakur, “I have already given My consent.”
Mr. Exman, “I shall let You know the messages that would be inserted in Your biography “Ocean in a Teacup” written by Ray and also how the book can be made more beautiful in all respects. I shall also send the proof to You so that You can go through it.”
Sri Sri Thakur, “I don’t understand all these things. I am not a learned man. You will do what you think best. I have my understanding and I can say something from that understanding only. I see, I think, I feel and I speak. This alone is My capital.”
Mr. Exman, “I like Your easy and simple talk very much. I like this place very much and I also love You very much. Your environment is also very enjoyable. I shall come again tomorrow morning. I am very eager to be initiated in the ‘Holy Name’. I shall accept it tomorrow morning.”
Sri Sri Thakur (nodding His head in agreement), “Good.”
After Mr. Exman left, Sri Sri Thakur took the water piper and gave the following message:
“Initiation makes a person dexterous
if he follows properly.
Love makes a person propitious
when he follows the principles
of being and becoming.”

THE
ACTUAL MEANING OF 'RESIST NO EVIL'.
> > > > > > > >
"Even if a person tortures you, then also, you should behave him in a nice manner. If someone misbehaves you, abuses you, You do justice to him. Tell him, 'It's my fault. I couldn't behave properly.' In this way, pour water on his fire. In this manner, Love spreads. This should be done only in your case.
But, if infront of you someone is assaulting Kiran or Harinandan (persons present there), there it's your duty to resist the evil. 'Resist no evil' doesn't means that someone is being harmed and I shall not resist it. If someone harms Prafulla, you should resist there with a thunderous stand. That is my view."

WHAT
IS ‘FATE’?
“Work on, but be not enslaved. If a change of circumstances brings an undesirable change in your heart, know for certain you have enslaved yourself by your work.
Do not be confined by any kind of prejudice. Except those of the Supreme Father, all prejudices are bonds.
Your fate is what is just beyond the range of your vision and knowledge—the not-seen, the not-known---hence is fate as you say.
Throw off your proud, stupid, satan ‘I’. Move on the will of the Supreme Father. Fate can do nothing. The will of the Supreme Father is fate.
In your every condition just try to understand His blissful will. You will see, grief can’t touch you ; rather, strength will come in your heart and even in sorrow you will find bliss.
Don’t break down thinking about fate. Work on! Don’t be idle! For just as you work, so is your fate unfurled to your vision. The doer of good never fares ill. He gets his rewards sooner or later.
With eyes on the supreme Father, work on! His will is fate. Don’t sit foolishly making fate anything else. Many people leave their rudder, sit non-plussed and think they are without a destiny. Having no reliance, they ultimately pass their whole lives in distress. That is foolishness".

CONVERSATIONS WITH SRI SRI THAKUR: ALOCHANA-PRASANGE
(BY PRAFULLA KR. DAS): WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23, 1947; PART 2: “EDUCATION IMBUED
WITH DHARMA IS REAL AND COMPLETE EDUCATION. AS IT WILL TEACH US TO LIVE, SO
ALSO WILL IT TEACH US TO MAKE OTHERS LIVE. THAT WILL NEVER MAKE PEOPLE SELFISH
AND PASSIONATE.” “TO INFUSE THIS URGE OF DHARMA IS THE VERY SOULD OF EDUCATION.
TO ACHIEVE IT WHAT IS MOST NEEDFUL IS A DIVINELY INSPIRED TEACHER. IN THE
COURSE OF PLEASING SUCH A TEACHER STUDENTS WILL SPONTANEOUSLY IMBIBE HIS
CHARACTER. THE TEACHER ALSO SHOULD HAVE A SUPERIOR BELOVED, IN ORDER TO PLEASE
WHOM HE WILL STRIVE TO PROPERLY REGULATE HIS INSTINCTS, COMPLEXES, HABITS AND
BEHAVIOR.”
Miss Sykes, “Is it possible to introduce a system of education in which Dharma will occupy the main place?”
Sri Sri Thakur, “Education imbued with Dharma is real and complete education. As it will teach us to live, so also will it teach us to make others live. That will never make people selfish and passionate. If a person is motivated by the urge of increasing the happiness and comfort of the environment through activity and service, he cannot but be efficient as a result of that goading zeal. Dharma means ‘existential uphold’.
“To infuse this urge of Dharma is the very soul of education. To achieve it what is most needful is a divinely inspired teacher. In the course of pleasing such a teacher students will spontaneously imbibe his character. The teacher also should have a superior beloved, in order to please whom he will strive to properly regulate his instincts, complexes, habits and behavior.
“Whatever system of education we may introduce, the fundamental factor is the availability of religious and Ideal-centric teachers. The character of the teacher itself will be the transmitter of Dharma and Ideal. Otherwise whatever we may do, the students will not have any palpable perception about Dharma and Ideal. Again I say, Dharma is not anything separated from life. To proceed towards love, life and lift along with our environment embracing everything of the world with an active adherence to the Ideal is what is called Dharma. Wherever Dharma is awakened, it brings in its trail resources, fulfilment of desire and liberation. Whatever we want to do by ignoring Dharma proves our undoing. Instead of upholding our existence it serves to hurl us down. (Emphasis by G. L.)
